Tomorrow - Sept 4th - Friday - The Range should be accessible in the afternoon, if not, then for sure by Saturday morning. The crews have been working shifts around the clock for the past 72 hours to ensure they can get the road back open for us.

So, you can try tomorrow afternoon, but there is no guarantee that it will be open. Sorry to say, its a risk you have to take if you “Have” to go out tomorrow

RANGE EXCEPTIONS - NO SMOKING! Anywhere on property! Also, no steel core or steel jacket bullets.
Please practice caution! The Range and surrounding areas are still EXTREMELY DRY.
So shoot and use the range with caution, PLEASE!
HOWEVER……there is now Construction on the Range Road.
So you will notice a few things…
There are now 2 Gates, the lock combo will be reset to what is noted on your membership cards, for both gates. If the Main Yellow Gate is open when you arrive, just leave it open. There is another gate, close to the ADFGA sign.
If the 2nd gate is open, leave open as well. As crew may be working in and around the range
Pistol Range - will have some days where its closed. We are working on constructing a ricochet backstop, so the pistol range will be closed the days the crews are working. We just dont know dates yet….
There will be days where the Range is Inaccessible - there is a crew working on the creek and they will have the road dug up a few times. So the Range will be closed on those days.
Dates - (so far)….
Aug 29th - Open all day
Aug 30th - Open all day
Aug 31st - Sept 3rd - CLOSED - No Access (Mon - Thur)

Sept 4th - Open hopefully in the afternoon
Sept 5th - Open
Sept 6th - Open
Sept 7th - Open

The range should be open moving forward, but we will try to give you as much notice of any closures

Sept `16th we will plan to have our next monthly ADFGA Meeting @ 7pm

We will let you know of any more dates the range may be closed, as we come to know about them.
Thank you all for your understanding and patience.
Enjoy using the Range once again, and PLEASE use caution.

Due to the wildfires springing up and getting out of control, the ADFGA has come to a decision. For safety of the community around us, and for concern for residents of the Okanagan, until further notice, the ADFGA will be closed!
Everything is so dry, and the smallest spark could endanger our whole community. Thanks in advance for your understanding!
