Steelmac is located in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, and is managed by its founder Wayne MacDonald, and son Aaron MacDonald. We employ 14 highly-skilled and knowledgeable full-time staff and up to 75 seasonal rebar placers. The company was established in 1986 primarily to supply structural steel products to the construction industry in Atlantic Canada. Over the past three decades, the company has expan

ded into the supply and installation of reinforcing steel, rebar estimating and detailing, miscellaneous metals, pilings, and abrasion-resistant wear plate. Steelmac has been certified by the Nova Scotia Construction Safety Association since 1996. We provide general and specialized steel and rebar services and product manufacturing to both the local community as well as projects worldwide.
