Did you know one Doppstadt CoreShred 900 can chew through up to 88,000 tons of material a year?

Twin counter-rotating shafts turn out a uniform product with lower energy use, and quick-change shaft sets let you swap between paddle, star, concrete, and metal configurations without major downtime. A 543 hp Volvo Penta engine drives it all, with an overbelt magnet pulling ferrous metal right at the discharge.

Westerra Equipment is the exclusive dealer for Ecoverse brands, including Doppstadt, in Western Canada.

Did you know the skid steer loader was born on a turkey farm? In 1957, Minnesota brothers Cyril and Louis Keller built a small three-wheeled loader so a local farmer could clean out his turkey barn without tearing the place up.

Melroe Manufacturing picked up the design, added a second set of drive wheels in 1960 to create the M400, the world's first true skid steer, and by 1962 the machine had a new name: Bobcat. Nearly 70 years later, that same idea still anchors jobsites everywhere.

Heat is hard on iron. When temperatures climb, your machine's cooling and hydraulic systems are working as hard as you are.

Three habits worth keeping this summer:
✅ Blow out radiators and coolers regularly. Dust and debris choke airflow right when your engine needs it most
✅ Watch hydraulic temperatures. Overheated oil thins out and accelerates wear on pumps, seals, and hoses
✅ Check and service air filters more often. Dry season dust loads them up fast

A 20 minute walk-around beats a mid-season breakdown every time.
