🇧🇼 Happy Independence Day, Botswana!

Independence is more than the attainment of political sovereignty. Real independence begins with ownership of the means of production — our ability to understand our resources, generate knowledge, control critical systems, build productive capacity, and use our own capabilities to solve our own challenges.

The Botswana of the next 60 years must be a Botswana that increasingly knows what it has, understands what it needs, and has the intelligence and capability to act on that knowledge.

That is why data matters. Intelligence matters. Infrastructure intelligence matters.
