The construction of 115 m long Dramzam bridge at Budhini on Samtse - Sipsoo Secondary National Highway is seen to be progressing well. When complete, the double lane bridge would clear one of the major bottle necks on the Highway created by the aging single lane Bailey bridge.

The ministry of road transport and highways wants high-tensile stainless steel to be used for the construction of bridges on national highways near coastal areas to combat the impact of extreme weather. This directive comes amid increasing infrastructure vulnerabilities due to climate change.
