A firefighting and hydrant demonstration training was conducted at Lhaki Cement with over 50 participants, including staff from Bhutan Polymers and Jigme Flux & Refractories Private Limited.

The session focused on hands-on practice, where employees learned to operate fire extinguishers, hydrants, and follow proper emergency response steps. HODs, HRD, the Safety Officer, focal person, and OHS representatives were present throughout the drill.

The training improved emergency preparedness, strengthened teamwork, and increased confidence in handling fire incidents. Several employees performed exceptionally well during the mock drill and were recognized with tokens of appreciation and prizes, reinforcing a strong safety culture at Lhaki Cement.
