More clamps do not always mean a safer quick mold change system.

The key is whether the **total clamping force matches the injection molding machine and mold requirements**.

For a hydraulic quick mold change system, we normally check:

✔ Injection molding machine tonnage
✔ Mold weight and structure
✔ T-slot position and platen space
✔ Clamp model and clamping force
✔ Required clamp quantity per machine

In our design, the total clamping force should normally reach approximately **12%–15% of the machine clamping force**.

That is why the same clamp quantity should not simply be copied from one machine to another.

A 300T machine and a 2000T machine need different calculations.
