.The truth that nobody talks about is that drummers have long lacked synergy with their instruments. Yes, that feeling that most of us once had, of not needing any other resources to achieve an incredible sound, just a good musical ear and the right drumheads to create that perfect combination that would keep us playing the drums all day long, never wanting to stop listening to that wonderful sound echoing within our listening souls. This has been lost over the years... the sound has become fast food. Tapes glued to the drumheads, flannels, cloths, thick fabrics, dampening gel, cutting one drumhead over another... I prefer to continue getting the precision right in the design, construction, renovation, revitalization... I prefer not to let the sound of the drums die...
A verdade que ninguém diz é que o músico baterista está carente, há muito tempo, da sinergia com seu instrumento. Sim, daquela sensação que a maioria de nós já tivemos,um dia, de não precisar de qualquer outro recurso para se chegar ao som de resultado incrível, apenas com o bom ouvido musical e as peles certas para que houvesse aquela combinação perfeita que nos deixaria o dia inteiro a tocar os tambores e sem querer parar de ouvir aque maravilhoso som ecoar dentro de nossas almas ouvintes. Isso foi se perdendo ao passar dos anos...o som ficou fastfood. Fitas coladas nas peles, flanelas, panos, tecidos espessos, gel abafador, recorte de pele sobre a pele...
Eu prefiro continuar acertando na precisão do projeto, da construção,da reforma, da revitalização...
Prefiro não deixar o som dos tambores morrer...

Sound is eternal; it transcends generations! Recorded music has the power to immortalize moments, to memorize the deepest sensations each time it is played anywhere in the world! Therefore, getting the timbres, sounds, and sonic textures right is a great responsibility, because this recording will be carried within people, in the deepest part of their souls!
