🚧 Improving Road Drainage with Megaflo® Subsoil System 🚧

During a major road infrastructure upgrade, swampy ground conditions caused by groundwater and heavy rainfall posed a challenge for pavement stability.

💡 The Solution
Megaflo® Green socked slotted drain pipes were installed to intercept groundwater and remove excess moisture from the pavement layers. A total of 8,500m of Megaflo® drainage system was installed, helping maintain a dry and stable road subgrade.

✅ Faster water drainage compared to conventional agi pipes
✅ Narrow trench installation with reduced backfill
✅ Made from recycled HDPE materials for a more sustainable solution

The result: improved pavement performance, cost savings, and long-term drainage efficiency.

🚧 STABILISING ROADS ALONG CANALS 🚧

In Singburi Province, Thailand, a local road running alongside the Maharahj Canal faced serious stability issues due to soft dredged soil and high groundwater levels. These conditions increased the risk of pavement deformation and embankment failure.

To strengthen the roadway, 27,000 m² of MIRAFI®️ H2Rx geotextile was installed to provide both subgrade reinforcement and moisture management. The system improved pavement stiffness while reducing moisture within the base layer.

🏗️ SLOPE STABILITY WITH A CLEAN FINISH 🌿

At Virginia Water, a 35m long and 3m high embankment (50° slope) posed a serious risk to a new luxury residence and surrounding area. A fast and reliable stabilisation solution was required to prevent slope failure.

A total of 179 Platipus PDEA® (Percussion Driven Earth Anchors) were installed to secure a High-Performance Turf Reinforcement Mat (HPTRM) to the slope face.

✅ Rapid and efficient installation
✅ Immediate and long-term slope stability
✅ Protection for property and public safety

The slope was then hydroseeded to achieve a natural, seamless finish that blends with the surrounding landscape.
