The system was engineered for a frozen-food environment where every cubic meter of refrigerated space is expensive to build and maintain. The whole design objective is driven by minimizing electricity consumption every single pallet stored.
>> The Mobile Racking System is accessible from two different sides
This is probably the most unusual feature. The installation is divided into two Mobile Rack Blocks and is accessible from two different warehouse sides with access to two different loading ramps. This is not the typical single aisle opening Mobile Racking layout seen in most warehouses. It allows much greater operational flexibility for inbound and outbound pallet movements.

Usually, warehouses face a trade-off:
a) High density → Mobile Racks;
b) High throughput → Conventional Racking Systems;
In this case, STAMH Group combined:
Mobile Racks storing more than 1,550 pallets and Conventional Pallet Racks around the storage area, maximizing useful storgae volume;

This suggests the solution was designed to balance storage density and operational speed for a food distribution center supplying 23 restaurants.
>> The mobile bases are exceptionally large
One block contains mobile bases with a depth of approximately 30 meters, while the other uses bases 16.26 meters long. Those are substantial dimensions for moving rack structures carrying pallet loads in a frozen environment.
>> It includes a dedicated night cooling mode
This is the detail that really differentiates it from typical mobile racking systems.
The system incorporates a special night mode that ensures even cooling and ventilation of stored pallets when the warehouse is not operating. That's a feature directly linked to cold-storage performance rather than storage density alone.
>> Advanced controls and remote operation
The system is controlled via:
a) Two operator panels;
b) Integrated HMI touchscreens;
c) Remote controls for aisle opening and buttons on the Mobile Bases;
This reduces operator travel distances and improves efficiency in a large cold-storage facility where every unnecessary movement has a cost;
