We're taking another step towards reducing the environmental impact of our transport operations with the addition of new Mercedes-Benz Actros L trucks to our fleet.

Atelier Re-Sourcé transforme des mobil-homes en fin de vie en habitats démontables, sobres et accessibles.

Pour ce démonstrateur, notre profil 𝐉𝐈 𝟐𝟗-𝟐𝟖𝟑-𝟖𝟓𝟎 a été posé en toiture et en bardage afin de créer une unité visuelle contemporaine et durable.

Un projet concret qui permet :
✔️ d’éviter près de 2 tonnes de déchets par module
✔️ d’intégrer jusqu’à 60 % de fournitures réemployées ou locales
✔️ de proposer des logements adaptés aux besoins des territoires

A practical solution that:

𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲: 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 🌍

From 21 to 25 September, teams across many Joris Ide sites came together for Planet Passionate Week, turning sustainability into action through a wide range of local initiatives.

At 𝗝𝗜 𝗭𝘄𝗲𝘃𝗲𝘇𝗲𝗹𝗲 (𝗕𝗘), colleagues gave books, clothes and plants a second life through a SWAP, collected used batteries for recycling, joined a local Cleanup Challenge and shared ideas for a more sustainable workplace. An inspiring Eco-Comedy session with 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘓𝘰𝘸 𝘐𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘤𝘵 𝘔𝘢𝘯 added a fun perspective, while the week ended with our 𝘎𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘳𝘪𝘥𝘦, 𝘴𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘵 𝘣𝘪𝘵𝘦 initiative, encouraging greener ways of commuting. 🚲🌱

Across our other Business Units, plenty of initiatives took place as well. In 𝗦𝗶𝗲𝗴𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹 (𝗗𝗘), colleagues joined forces for a Cleanup initiative attended by the local mayor and covered by local media. In 𝗔𝗻𝘀𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗵 (𝗗𝗘), teams combined a Cleanup with a hands-on workshop to build an insect hotel and support local biodiversity. 🐝

Our colleagues in 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗱𝘀𝗸𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗮𝗹 (𝗡𝗟) also rolled up their sleeves for a local Cleanup.

In France, teams in 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗮𝘂𝗹𝗲 took part in a mobility challenge from 14 to 27 September, while colleagues in Bressuire organised a Clean Up Day on 24 September, cleaning the outdoor areas around the site as well as nearby public paths. 🚶‍♀️♻️

Different locations, different initiatives, but one shared ambition: 𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀.

🇬🇧 ☀️ Project spotlight | Photovoltaic aviary in Donnery, France

A great new application for our JoriSolar RS-Park 2 system, installed by Terra Solaire on a photovoltaic aviary project in Donnery (45), France.

Designed for canopy and shelter-type structures, 𝐉𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐑𝐒-𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝟐 allows the rails to be fixed directly onto the supporting structure (using bolts or screws). The rails support the photovoltaic modules. The modules are secured from underneath using clips, limiting the need for work above the PV array and enabling exceptionally fast installation.

Nouvelle application pour notre système 𝐉𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐑𝐒-𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝟐, installé par Terra Solaire dans le cadre d'un projet de volière photovoltaïque à Donnery (45).

Conçu pour les structures de type ombrière, auvent ou abri, JoriSolar RS-Park 2 permet de fixer les rails directement sur la structure porteuse (boulonnage ou visserie). Ceux-ci accueillent les modules photovoltaïques. La fixation des modules s'effectue par-dessous (clipsage), limitant ainsi les interventions au-dessus du champ photovoltaïque et permettant une mise en œuvre d’une rapidité inégalée.
