In this particular case, the powered wheelchair being used was not ideally suited to the user's individual needs. The immediate priority therefore became finding the best possible configuration to improve comfort while providing a safer, more supportive seating position.
It is also a good reminder of an essential principle: before looking at additional positioning solutions, the first step is always to start with the right product, properly configured for the individual.
