Het Werkhuis is de makersplek van NEST in de oude
bibliotheek van Gent. Hier bieden we ruimte en
machines aan, brengen makers samen, stimuleren
samenwerkingen en delen know-how. In het Werkhuis kan je een plek reserveren om aan je projecten
te werken of zelf workshops te geven. Naast een tafel, wifi,
stopcontact en koffie/thee kan je gebruik maken van uitgeruste
makershoeken. Er is een afgesloten
en volledig geëquipeerd
houtatelier, een schildersatelier, industriële naaimachine,
overlock, brei- en borduurmachine…

Het Werkhuis (The workhouse) is a creative co-working space located in the old library building in the heart of Ghent
The space comprises of different areas that cater for diverse aspects of contemporary working. In Het werkhuis you can book a workspace for your creative projects. Next to a table, wifi, Power socket and coffee / tea you can use the equipment in the ‘maker’s corners’, there is a fully equipped wooden studio, a painter studio, knitting, overlock and sewing machine and an industrial machine for you to use. Membership options has been carefully thought out and range from month, day hour options in a shared desk or little personal space.
