Today, all major forklift manufacturers are offering telematics systems to get data from their forklifts. These are all nice, but are they telling you anything useful about what's actually happening on your floor?

What you get are metrics like speed, number of (possible) impacts, engine hours, and more. What you don't get is context:
- where did speeding or a crash happen?
- were there other forklifts or operators involved?
- what led up to an event?
- where are my forklift idling?

Pozyx Platform v3.1 is here.

We’ve started rolling it out to select customers, with a full rollout in the coming weeks. After this update, you will not want to go back.

The biggest upgrade is a completely overhauled UX and UI. The map now instantly answers operational questions like:

• Which of my assets require immediate attention?
• What production orders are at my workstation and for how long?
• Is this tugger train on its way or not?
• How long has this tool or asset been standing still?

We did not add tons of new data. We unlocked and visualized what was already there. The result is a more powerful and actionable platform for day to day operations.

Also new in v3.1:

🔹 Support for battery-powered BLE scanners for cost effective tool or pallet tracking
🔹 Stronger GPS support for outdoor and remote sites
🔹 Improved dwell time detection, API updates and performance boosts

v3.1 makes asset visibility clearer, faster and more intuitive.

We’ve just launched our online Battery Life Calculator to help you estimate the expected battery lifetime for some of the battery-powered tags supported by the Pozyx RTLS Platform.

As the year comes to a close and the holiday season begins, we want to take a moment to reflect on what has been an important year for Pozyx.

In 2025, we sharpened our focus on real customer use-cases such as search-and-find, WIP tracking, forklift tracking, and returnable packaging. We continued to make our RTLS more flexible and scalable, with a clear focus on lowering the cost and complexity of deployments.

One area where we’ve grown particularly strong is seamless indoor and outdoor tracking, even across multiple sites. By supporting different levels of accuracy depending on the use-case, we enable customers to combine UWB, BLE, and GPS and apply the right technology where it adds the most value.

None of this would be possible without the trust and collaboration of our customers, partners, research collaborators, and the incredible Pozyx team. Thank you for the feedback, discussions, and shared ambition throughout the year.

🚀 RTLS 2025.2 is now available, bringing powerful upgrades to the Pozyx UWB and BLE RTLS system.

The highlight of this release is the new omlox hub connector.
It allows Pozyx to connect seamlessly to any omlox hub and support multi-zone, multi-building, and multi-floor deployments using a single RTLS system.
This makes it much easier to scale across warehouses, production areas, and entire sites while staying aligned with the open omlox standard.

This release also includes:

✅ Approximate UWB positioning, introduced last week, which enables flexible anchor spacing and tiered accuracy depending on infrastructure density
✅ Improved handling of static tags, delivering better positioning accuracy even in environments with vibration, metal interference, or limited signal availability
✅ Ongoing security improvements, bug fixes and improvements to ensure robust system performance

This release focuses on scalability, flexibility, and openness, making it easier than ever to deploy and expand your RTLS system.

Imagine cutting your RTLS infrastructure costs without sacrificing accuracy where it matters.

One of the most common questions we get is whether the accuracy of the Pozyx UWB positioning system depends on anchor density. Can you reduce the number of anchors in some areas and accept lower accuracy there, while still achieving very high accuracy where it matters most?

Until recently, the answer was no. Traditional UWB positioning works brilliantly within the required geometry, but once the setup falls below a certain threshold, accuracy collapses. This was also true for Pozyx.

With our upcoming RTLS release, this changes.

We now support a dynamic accuracy model that adapts to the deployed infrastructure. When anchors are placed at standard density, you get the familiar 10 to 30 cm precision. When spacing them further apart, the system shifts to approximate positioning at around 5 meters. And when only a single anchor is available, the tracker still provides reliable presence detection.

This capability allows you to deploy trackers across an entire site, indoors and outdoors, while tuning anchor density to match the required accuracy in each zone. You get full visibility where you need it, use fewer anchors where precision is less critical, and scale your RTLS deployment with far greater efficiency.
