Today, all major forklift manufacturers are offering telematics systems to get data from their forklifts. These are all nice, but are they telling you anything useful about what's actually happening on your floor?
What you get are metrics like speed, number of (possible) impacts, engine hours, and more. What you don't get is context:
- where did speeding or a crash happen?
- were there other forklifts or operators involved?
- what led up to an event?
- where are my forklift idling?
Accurate forklift tracking data can help provide this context and give you more insights and visibility over your operation so you can actually make meaningful changes. Check out our latest blog that delves into this as well as the ROI you can expect from tracking the forklifts in your operations!
