🇬🇧 Southwark Metals 𝐝𝐨𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟎𝟎𝟎𝐓 𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫

We are proud to see Southwark Metals, one of South London’s leading independent scrap processors, continuing its growth with the recent installation of a new Lefort Trax 1000 at its state-of-the-art Greenwich facility.

Recognising the importance of fast and efficient processing equipment, Southwark Metals has now placed an order for a second Lefort machine for its new Barking site in East London. The new yard opened in March 2026 and has already become a bit hit.

The new Lefort Konkeror 1000T shear will operate alongside the existing Lefort Trax 700T, increasing the Barking site's processing capacity to more than 300 tonnes per day.
