What do physiotherapists really need from a treatment table?

💬 “I speak with therapists every day. And the same three things always come up: reliability, ergonomics and ease of use.”

- Danny, Product Manager at Gymna

Because no two practices are the same, one table doesn’t fit all. That’s why Gymna developed three distinct series — GO, PRO and ONE — each aligned with a different way of working.

New evidence in sports medicine 🔍

📚 A recent clinical review by Dr. Alberto Schek highlights growing evidence for ultrasound-guided electrolysis therapy (USGET) in the treatment of tendon and muscle injuries.

Research suggests that USGET may help:

✔️ Support tissue remodeling in chronic tendinopathies

✔️ Modulate inflammatory responses in acute muscle injuries

✔️ Improve pain and function, particularly in patellar tendinopathy

Ultrasound guidance plays a key role, helping clinicians target affected tissue with precision and safety. 🎯

At Gymna, we believe innovation in physiotherapy starts with evidence-based technologies that support better treatments.

⚡ Shockwave therapy is rarely one-size-fits-all.

In daily physiotherapy practice, treatment parameters often need to change based on tissue response, pain sensitivity and stage of recovery.

In this article, we explore how physiotherapists use patient-tailored shockwave therapy to guide treatment decisions and achieve more consistent outcomes.

Where care meets technology. 👁️
Therapists see every day how spasticity affects movement, comfort and daily life.

That’s why we at Gymna International joined forces with Sint-Gerardus (Diepenbeek, Belgium) and Hasselt University (Faculty of rehabilitation sciences) and Frame (by Jessa hospital) to explore whether shockwave therapy could be safely and comfortably integrated into paediatric care.

The outcome? A strong safety & feasibility profile. Clinically, the pilot study showed a significant reduction in spasticity in several muscle groups. Therapists also observed improved mobility and relaxation, with meaningful progress in everyday function. 💛
