At Little Giant, we design and install tow hooks for a wide range of vehicles, capacities and applications. Our latest development is the H30E, featuring an electrically activated locking pin.

This solution was developed with electric tractors and platform trucks in mind. By replacing the traditional hydraulic locking system with an electric one, there is no need for hydraulic lines or an additional hydraulic unit.

The H30E was recently installed on three STILL LXT180 platform trucks, providing a practical and integrated solution for their towing requirements.

Not every logistics challenge can be solved with standard equipment. For this project, we customized a BT SPE 200 stacker for deployment in a battery exchange station.

The existing machine was adapted with:
👉 Custom support legs and wheel brackets
👉 Wheels with a maximum height of just 50 mm
👉 A specially designed HJ14SP crane arm

The result is a compact, purpose-built solution designed to work within the specific requirements of a battery exchange environment.

A custom hydraulic tow hitch, built for maximum efficiency 🔧

Every operation has its own requirements. That's why we design and manufacture custom-built hydraulic tow hitches that integrate seamlessly with your equipment.

For this project, our team produced and installed a Type HT30 hydraulic tow hitch for a Linde E25L-1252, with all work carried out in our workshop in Beerse.

The solution includes:
👉 Hydraulic opening and closing of the tow hitch
👉 Mounting directly against the counterweight
👉 Full installation, including the necessary modifications to the counterweight
👉 Finished in RAL 7021

From engineering and production to installation, every step was completed in-house to ensure a reliable solution tailored to our customer's operation.

🏗️ Heavy-duty custom clamps built for extreme offshore conditions

In our workshop, we recently designed and manufactured a set of heavy-duty clamps for handling massive concrete elements used in coastal protection systems.

These Accropode blocks are unreinforced concrete units used to absorb wave energy and protect shorelines, with individual weights reaching around 12,000 kg. Handling them safely and precisely requires equipment built for extreme loads and demanding environments.

For this project, we engineered and built fully custom clamp systems featuring:
👉 Robust base frames
👉 Heavy-duty clamping arms
👉 Dedicated pickup clamp plates
👉 Integrated guiding shafts

The attachments were mounted on large-scale crawler machines (Caterpillar 988H and 988K) and deployed for use in an international marine construction project in Abu Dhabi.

We also developed previous generations of similar equipment for the same application, with proven performance in the field. That long-term reliability and in-house expertise were key factors in developing this latest solution.

A project that reflects what we do best: turning complex lifting challenges into reliable, engineered solutions.

Heavy-duty fork positioning for demanding applications, meet Pile Slope 👷‍♂️

When standard solutions aren’t enough, the Pile Slope heavy-duty fork positioner steps in. Designed for intensive use in sectors like horticulture, it helps move heavy materials safely and efficiently.

Key specifications:
👉 Capacity: 4000 kg / 500 mm
👉 Frame width: 2000 mm
👉 Forks: 120 x 50 x 1500 mm

This attachment combines three hydraulic functions in one system:
1️⃣ Two extra cylinders provide rotation of the fork positioner (+5° / -5°)
2️⃣ Integrated side shift for precise positioning
3️⃣ Fork adjustment for flexible handling

For added durability, the hydraulic cylinders are protected by a reinforced perforated cover plate, as shown in the images.

In heavy logistics environments like ports, flexibility and strength go hand in hand. These fork positioners are designed for exactly that kind of work, with capacities ranging from 2.5T / 500mm up to 7T / 600mm, making them ideal for handling heavy pallets in demanding conditions.

A key advantage is the ability to adjust the fork position within the frame width, improving efficiency when working with different load sizes. We supply both fixed fork versions and telescopic fork systems. The telescopic option is especially useful when pallet sizes vary frequently and adjustment is needed while carrying a load.
