What an incredible morning! I completed my very first-ever marathon today at the Hatirjheel Area. The day started bright and early at 4:30 AM with a warm-up session, and we hit the ground running from 5:00 AM to 6:00 AM. The energy, the vibe, and the overall experience were simply phenomenal, and we enjoyed every single moment of it. Crossing that finish line and holding this medal for the first time is a feeling I won't forget anytime soon. Here’s to stepping out of the comfort zone and embracing new challenges!

Completed my very first-ever marathon today at the 7.5KM Family Runners Marathon at Hatirjheel Area!

The day started early at 4:30 AM, and we hit the ground running from 5:00 AM to 6:00 AM. The energy, the vibe, and the overall experience were simply phenomenal. We enjoyed every single moment of it! Crossing that finish line and holding this medal for the first time is a feeling I won't forget anytime soon.

🏗️ Engineering Ex*****on in Action: Cast-in-Situ Bored Pile Installation

Foundations are the backbone of any safe and durable structure. On site, precision and coordination are everything when it comes to deep foundation works.

The video above captures a critical phase of the process: Lowering and positioning the steel reinforcement cage into the drilled borehole.

Here is a quick look at the core engineering process behind high-capacity cast-in-situ bored piles:

1. Boring & Drilling: Excavating to the design depth according to soil parameters and load-bearing strata requirements using specialized rigs.

2. Borehole Cleaning & Flushing: Removing debris and sediment from the base to ensure optimal skin friction and end-bearing capacity.

3. Reinforcement Cage Placement: Carefully guiding and lowering the prefabricated steel cage (as seen in action here) to resist bending moments and lateral loads.

4. Tremie Concreting: Pouring concrete continuously from the bottom up via a tremie pipe to prevent segregation and ensure structural integrity.

Every step requires strict quality control, adherence to safety standards, and seamless teamwork on the ground.
