Job Summary
The Marketing and Communications Manager will be responsible for supporting the Head of Marketing and Communications in executing the marketing and public relations strategies of the company. The role is important for building and maintaining the company's image and achieving the annual business objectives.
Candidate Profile
Responsibilities
1. Coordinate with the team: Coordinate with the marketing and communications team, third-party vendors, and other departments to ensure marketing and PR campaigns are running smoothly and as per schedule.
2. Support budget planning: Support the Head of Marketing and Communications in budget planning and monitor budgets to ensure that spending is on track.
3. Execute PR strategy: Support the Head of Marketing and Communications in executing the PR strategy that has been created to ensure ex*****on runs smoothly.
4. Event planning: Responsible for following the events calendar designed annually to execute events internally and externally and also accommodate to all ad-hoc requirements regarding arrangements of visits, conferences, ceremonies, etc.
5. Marketing Materials Management: The incumbent will assume responsibility for overseeing the storage and accessibility of all marketing and communications materials critical to executing our marketing campaigns. High accountability for ensuring that the inventory of materials is effectively managed, and a system is put in place for tracking their availability. Additionally, generate a monthly report covering the availability and non-availability of such materials.
6. Analytics: Track and analyze the success of ongoing marketing and communications initiatives and refine future campaigns based on those insights.
7. Collaborate with internal stakeholders: Work effectively with departments across the company, including sales and operations, to understand their needs and align marketing and PR efforts accordingly.
8. Support brand management: Support the Head of Marketing and Communications in maintaining and upholding the company's brand standards and guidelines across all marketing and communications activities.
9. Crisis management: Support the Head of Marketing and Communications in handling unexpected media inquiries or crises with professionalism and accuracy.
10. Stay up-to-date with industry trends: Keep abreast of the latest marketing and PR trends, techniques, and technologies to ensure the company is continuously evolving and staying competitive in the industry.
11. Media relations: Support the Head of Marketing and Communications in nurturing relationships with key media outlets and influencers to facilitate positive coverage and maintain positive relationships with the media.
12. Measure campaign effectiveness: Track and evaluate the success of key marketing campaigns using metrics such as website traffic, email open rates, and social media engagement.
13. CSR Project Management: Build effective relationships with partner organizations aimed at executing and measuring the success of corporate social responsibility programs to develop and implement CSR programs in line with overall Marketing and Communications strategy and company objectives and policies.
14. Employee Loyalty Program Development: Responsible for creating initiatives designed to build high levels of loyalty among our employees by working collaboratively with departmental heads and the HR team to build comprehensive employee benefits programs that leverage the appropriate reward mechanisms such as promotions and discounts while remaining financially sustainable for the company.
Qualification
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

Required Experiences
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Knowledge of marketing analytics and data-driven decision making.

• Comfortable with working under tight deadlines, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability to change.
Minimum Requirements
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing and events management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

The very first Potain MR229 luffing jib tower crane to be installed has joined the Radius group fleet and has been erected on a project in the UK.

Th crane is working for housing association L&Q Group on a project to build 476 new homes on the Greenwich Peninsula in London. The MR 229 has a maximum capacity of 14 tonnes, with jib lengths to 55 metres at which it can handle 2.7 tonnes. For this job it was installed with the full 50 metres jib and an under hook height of 37.5 metres. The out of service radius with the full jib is 12 metres, or 10 metres with a 30 metres jib.

A choice of two new high performance winches are available - the 75HPL35 fitted to this unit, or the 110HPL35. The MR 229 is also the first Potain luffing jib crane to include Manitowoc’s CCS operating system and Potain Connect telematics system.

The new crane is working alongside three Potain MR 225 A cranes on the project. Radius originally selected four MR 225 A cranes for the job, based on a maximum capacity requirement of 2.15 tonnes at full reach, but increasing pressures to step up the pace led the company to swap one of them out for the MR 229 as soon as it became available. The cranes are due to come off site by the end of 2025, although the project itself will not be fully completed until 2027.

Operations director Teddy Holt said: “Innovation has always been critical to Radius Group, and this is an exciting milestone for us. Being the first lifting provider in the world to erect an MR 229 on a live construction site is another great example of having a strong focus on continuous improvement, making Radius a lifting industry leader.”

Radius will manage the cranes throughout the project, including logistics, er****on, operation and dismantling. One benefit of the crane choice is that they will be able to dismantle each other, saving money on mobile cranes.

The company works with and has access to the fleet of international tower crane supplier NFT which now runs more than 3,000 tower cranes.
