Contract Award Announcement!

We are delighted to announce that DevConsultants Limited (DevCon), in joint venture with the Islamic University of Technology ,OIC, has been awarded a consultancy contract by the Bangladesh Bridge Authority (BBA) for the project:

“Feasibility Study and Detailed Design-Drawings of Deck Renovation and Associated Works for Appropriate Use of Jamuna Bridge’s Existing Rail Lane.”

This important assignment will include a thorough assessment of the Jamuna Bridge’s current condition, with a particular focus on the existing rail lane and its potential alternative uses. Our scope of work will cover the development of technically sound solutions addressing structural, traffic, and pavement aspects. In addition, we will provide detailed design, tender documents, and construction guidance to support BBA in successful project implementation.

We sincerely thank the Bangladesh Bridge Authority for placing their trust in us for this nationally significant infrastructure project. DevCon looks forward to contributing our expertise toward ensuring the sustainable and effective use of the Jamuna Bridge.

Saddest Message on the passing away of Major Abdul Alam Bhuiyan (Rtd.), DMD of DevConsultants Limited.

On behalf of DevConsultants Limited, we share with heartfelt sorrows the news of the passing away of our beloved Deputy Managing Director, Major Abdul Alam Bhuiyan (Rtd.), on the 14th of May 2025, at 9:00pm in Evercare Hospital, Dhaka.
"Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji'un" (إِنَّا لِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ),"

Please pray to Allah SWT to forgive him and grant him Jannat-ul-Firdous (Aamen).

His Namaje Janaja will be held today, 15th May 2025, after the Salatuz-Zuhr (1:15pm) prayer in Gulshan Society Jame Masjid (Plot # 2 & 24, Road # 63), Gulshan, Dhaka 1212. Please make your time to attend.
