Position:
Senior Executive – Accounts & Finance

Company Overview:

Position Summary:
The Accounts Officer will be responsible for full-cycle accounting, inventory-linked financial tracking, and compliance reporting. This role reports to the Higher Authority and collaborates closely with Procurement, Operations, and Logistics to ensure all financial activities are recorded and reconciled in a timely, audit-ready manner. The position is based at our facility in Zirabo, Ashulia, Savar, Dhaka.

Education:
BBA/MBA in Accounting or Finance

Experience:
2–3 years of accounting well known experience, preferably in manufacturing, industrial, or heavy-equipment sectors
Working knowledge of ERP systems such as Tally, SAP, or equivalent

Additional Requirements:
Strong verbal and written communication in English & Bangla
Age: 25–30 years (flexible based on experience)
Excellent integrity, attention to detail, and ethical work style

Responsibilities & Context:
Perform full-cycle accounting: daily cashbook, bank reconciliation, and general ledger entries
Reconcile supplier invoices with GRNs and inventory records
Manage fixed assets: tagging, depreciation schedules, and maintenance cost allocations
Handle accounts payable by processing supplier payments and maintaining payment schedules
Manage accounts receivable by issuing customer invoices and following up on collections.
Assist in preparing annual budgets and periodic cash-flow forecast
Inventory follow up.
Ensure accurate preparation, submission, and compliance of VAT, AIT, import duty documentation, C&F agent liaison, and customs clearance for heavy machinery and spare parts.
Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash-flow) and variance analyses
Coordinate with procurement, operations, and external/internal auditors to ensure audit-ready records
Conduct cost-control analyses and highlight opportunities for savings

Skills & Expertise:
Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, dashboards)
Proficiency in ERP/Tally/SAP or equivalent accounting software
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Audit-friendly documentation and recordkeeping

Job Summary:
Singur Heavy Industry Ltd. is seeking a qualified and motivated team member to support the sales and operational activities related to heavy equipment spare parts. The ideal candidate should hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering, demonstrate strong proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and possess excellent English communication skills, especially for professional correspondence and documentation. The position is based at our facility in Zirabo, Ashulia, Savar, Dhaka.

Key Responsibilities:
•Maintain and update accurate inventory records for heavy equipment spare parts, including stock movements and reorder levels.
•Coordinate effectively with sales, service, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth spare parts operations.
•Prepare, verify, and manage essential documentation such as invoices, delivery challans, and VAT/tax-related paperwork.
•Ensure compliance with company policies as well as local laws and regulations.
•Draft and handle email correspondence with clients, suppliers, and internal departments in professional English.
•Generate and maintain technical and operational reports utilizing MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Educational & Experience Requirements:
•Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from any reputed university with 3 years of relevant experience in inventory, operations, or spare parts management.
OR
•Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in inventory control, operations, or spare parts sales.
OR
•Recent Graduates in Mechanical Engineering who are eager to build a career in supply chain management are encouraged to apply.
•Candidates with prior experience in heavy equipment spare parts sales will be given preference.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Bangla and English.
