১। AC কে টনে প্রকাশ করা হয় কিন্তু KW-এ
প্রকাশ করা হয় না কেন?
উত্তরঃ
এসিকে টনে প্রকাশ করা হয় তার কারন হল
প্রতি ঘন্টায় কি পরিমাণ তাপ রোম থেকে
remove করতে পারে এর উপর ভিত্তি করে
এসিকে তৈরি করা হয়।তার মানে এটা তাপের
সাথে সম্পর্কিত। টন হল তাপের একটি একক।
কোন এসি যদি প্রতি ঘন্টায় ১২০০০ বিটিউ বা
১০০০ কিলোক্যালরি বা ৪১২০ কিলোজুল তাপ
remove করতে পারে তাকে এক টন এসি বলে।
এজন্ন এসিকে টন হিসাবে তৈরি হয়।
BTU = British thermal ইউনিট।

২। ১ টন সমান কত KW ?
উত্তরঃ
১ টন রেফ্রিজারেশন হল প্রায় ১২০০০ বিটিউ/
ঘন্টা এর সমান বা ৩৫১৬.৮৫২৮ ওয়াট এর
সমান।
One RT(Refrigeration Ton) =
3.5168528 kW…
1 RT = 3.5168528 kW
এটা হল তাপ অপসারন ক্ষমতা।
কিন্তু ইলেকট্রিক ক্ষমতা হল প্রায় ১২০০ থেকে
১৫০০ watt.

৩। ২ টন AC-তে কত আম্পিয়ার কারেন্ট নেয়
Single Phase and Three Phase-এ?
উত্তরঃ
মনে করা যাক, 230VAC and Power factor
= Cosθ = 0.95,
Single Phase AC system
1 Ton = 1.5 kW.
2 Ton = 2 x 1.5 KW =3KW
Power in a Single Phase AC System
আমরা জানি,
P = VxI Cosθ=২ টন= 3000 ওয়াট
তাহলে
I = P / (V x Cosθ)….. Where Cosθ =
Power factor
I = 3000W / (230V x .95)
I(কারেন্ট) = 13.72A
Three Phase System
মনে করা যাক,
440V and Power factor = Cosθ =
0.85 , P=২ টন=3000 ওয়াট
আমরা জানি,
P =√3 x VLxIL Cosθ
I = P /( √3xVxCosθ)
I = 3000W / (1.732 x 440V x .85)
Where Cosθ = Power factor and √3 =
1.732
I = 4.66 A
তাহলে ২ টন এসি এর কারেন্ট লাগে 4.66
এয়াম্পিয়ার(Three Phase)

৪। MCB এর সাইজ কত হবে ২ টন ও ১ টন এসি
এর জন্য?

আমরা উপরে ক্যালকুলেশন করে কারেন্ট বের
করলাম
Single Phase 13.72, Three phase 4.66
সাধারণত স্টারটিং এর সময় বেশি কারেন্ট টানে
ফুল লোড আবস্থায় সব কিছু বিবেচনা করে
দেখা যায়
সিঙ্গেল ফেজ এর জন্য 25A MCB Class C
and থ্রি ফেজের জন্য 10A Class C MCB
ব্যবহার করলে চলবে

RSC = RMG Sustainability Council

বাংলাদেশের RMG (Ready-Made Garments) শিল্পের কারখানাগুলোতে Safety, Health & Sustainability নিশ্চিত করার জন্য RSC গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করে।

🔹 RSC মূলত ৩টি প্রধান বিষয়ে কাজ করে:

• HT/LT Panel ও Substation inspection
• Transformer ও Generator safety
• ACB/MCCB/MCB protection

🔄 RSC কীভাবে কাজ করে?

Inspection → Finding → CAP → Corrective Action → Verification → Closure

অর্থাৎ RSC প্রথমে কারখানা পরিদর্শন করে Safety issue বা deficiency চিহ্নিত করে। এরপর সংশ্লিষ্ট কারখানাকে Corrective Action Plan (CAP) অনুযায়ী সমস্যাগুলো সমাধান করতে হয়। কাজ সম্পন্ন হওয়ার পর RSC আবার Verification করে এবং requirements পূরণ হলে finding Close করা হয়।

🎯 RSC-এর মূল লক্ষ্য:
কারখানায় কর্মরত শ্রমিক ও কর্মীদের জন্য একটি নিরাপদ, স্বাস্থ্যকর ও টেকসই কর্মপরিবেশ নিশ্চিত করা।

📌 Electrical/Mechanical/Fire & Safety Engineer এবং Maintenance Team-এর জন্য RSC requirements সম্পর্কে ভালো জ্ঞান থাকা অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ।
