Ground Improvement via Sand Compaction Piles (SCP):
Soft, highly compressible subsoils present significant engineering challenges regarding bearing capacity, post-construction settlement (consolidation settlement mostly) and seismic liquefaction risks. The Sand Compaction Pile (SCP) method addresses these challenges effectively by driving sand or fine aggregate into loose ground under high vibratory energy. While vibratory method is not that common in our country for all scale projects, we can still opt for SCP in non vibratory method.

We are happy to announce that our company is designing SCPs in our projects to minimize project cost while keeping engineering safety intact. Our engineering team recently visited one such project site at Suchakradandi, Patiya, Chittagong to oversee the operations and review ground conditions.
