ber 1972. From it`s inception SKEI had been manufacturing Habib Brand Ceiling Fan. Later, FMI was renamed as SKEI and registered in Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSIC) on 04 February 2001. Other than Ceiling Fan mentioned above, the factory manufactures SKEI Brand (both single and three phase) Distribution Transformer and Control Panels e.g. Main Distribution Board (MDB), High Tension (HT) Panel, Low Tension (LT) Panel, Power Factor Improvement (PFI) Plant, Sub-station equipment etc. We also supply Generators, Bus-Bar Trunking Systems (BBTs) and Solar Systems. Recently SKEI is producing Sena Energy Saving Fan which is BUET and BSTI tested and consumes maximum 40 Watt, minimum 04 Watt and 22 Watt in average. Due to it`s low energy consumption and other attractive features, it has earned much attention of various garment factories, renowned industries and household users. It has separate shops for core processing; coil winding, body fabrication, surface treatment and painting, assembling and testing which are developed and furnished with modern machinery for Sub-station Equipment & Distribution Transformer as well as all kinds of Fan. The shop floors are adequately high and have level floor area with Overhead Cranes. All shops are equipped with appropriate material handling facilities.
