🔎ASG Ground Handling, a member of ASG, is looking for a Deputy Chief Accountant to join its team.

ℹ️ We’re hiring a Deputy Chief Accountant to oversee month-end closings, manage AP/AR reconciliations and budgeting, and partner across departments to ensure precise cost control. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented finance professional ready to guide a team and streamline operations.

📍Requirements:
· Higher education in Accounting, Finance, or Economics;
· Minimum 5 years of accounting experience;
· Experience in Deputy Chief Accountant or Senior Accountant position;
· Big 4 experience is preferred;
· Strong knowledge of accounting and tax legislation;
· Good understanding of IFRS and accrual accounting principles;
· Experience with month-end closing and audits;
· Experience with ERP/accounting systems, preferably 1C:Enterprise; knowledge of · · Microsoft Dynamics;
· Advanced Excel skills;
· PMS mandatory;
· ACCA/DipIFR/CAP/CIPA as advantage;
· English and Russian preferred.

📍Working conditions:
· In accordance with the Labour Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
· Job Location: Baku, Heydar Aliyev International Airport;
· Work schedule: Full-time (5 days per week, from 09:00 to 18:00);
· The company provides free shuttle transportation from various locations, including Koroglu M/s, Bakikhanov, Amirjan, Mardakan, Bina, Surakhani, and surrounding areas.

📍 Job Responsibilities
· Provide accurate information to the passengers at information desks.
· Assist passengers with inquiries regarding flights, terminals and services.
· Coordinate with airport departments regarding schedule changes or disruptions.
· Ensure all announcements are made clearly in Azerbaijani, Russian and English.
· Maintain updated flight information displays and internal communication systems.

🧐 What We Are Looking For:
Experience: Proven Experience in Groundhandling Operations (7–10 years of experience in ground handling operations, at least 4-5 years in a managerial or supervisory role.)
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Logistics, Transportation, or a related field.
Certifications: Safety Management Systems (SMS) - IATA, Ramp Handling Certification (IATA AHM or GOM), Aviation Security Awareness, or equivalent.
Knowledge: Deep understanding of groundhandling operations standards, including IATA regulations.
Skills: Excellent leadership, multi-stakeholder coordination, and communication skills.
Language: Fluent spoken and written English.
Commitment: Willingness to commit to a long-term projects
