We were pleased to deliver the 6th and 7th lessons of the Piping Engineering School organised by the IMechE ASOIU Student Chapter.
The 6th lesson, titled “Loads, Stresses, and Allowables,” focused on the main loads acting on piping systems, the stresses resulting from static and dynamic loads, and the allowable stress criteria used in design in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
The 7th lesson, titled “Stress Analysis Software and Practice,” covered the principles of evaluating and analysing piping systems in real engineering projects, together with the role and application of specialised software in this process.
It was a pleasure to share our knowledge and practical experience with the participants. We would like to express our sincere appreciation to the IMechE ASOIU student chapter for this valuable initiative and kind invitation.
Contributing to the development of young engineers and supporting engineering education through practical industry knowledge is always a great pleasure for Javnas.
