Here is a EVINRUDE 115hp I had in for a full service recently the water pump was run without water or the flushers were not fitting correctly. Regular maintenance and service is a key to all marine engines.

It's been another busy week here, and with all this rain, it hasn't helped with my mobile servicing 🛠🚐

That said, the rain is good for the area.

What an AWESOME week!

It's been quite some time since I had a chance to install a brand spanking new outboard and help support a fantastic local community group, the Capricornia Cruising Yacht Club - CCYC at the same time.

The 'DIEDRE P II', the club's Race-Starter Support Vessel, was a new purchase around 2014 and featured twin 50HP TOHATSU 2-stroke motors.

10 years down the track, and MANY nautical miles later, these engines were definitely due for an upgrade.

Seeing Rifen Marine had a clearance sale on old stock, I secured a quote, submitted to the committee, who approved and purchased a new MERCURY 115 HP Pro XS.

This has absolutely transformed the boat, making it far more user-friendly for all of the club members who support these Sailing Race Days.
