New cases and machining after Bazza broke Billy Macs Husky. Aaron Underwood did the patten and casting, we did the machining. Bazza never broke this one but I can bet he tried. Now owened by Alex Buxton. Not sure what the chassis was.

Oh dear, someone in NZ brought a Yamaha TLS from a classic racing TZ off me a few months ago. I have inadvertently discovered that a cable was missing it has a special tension screw and Knurled nut. If anyone could be so kind as to track them down, I would love to send it to them. Whoever they are they had someone drop of the money and send them the wheel. I never actually meet them.
I believe they may have been from the Napier/Hastings area. Thanks for any help.

GJR Engineering will be closing the doors for the final time Friday 29th September.
On 28/8/23 we reached 25 years in business and the whole demographic of the engineering business has changed in that time.
Older engineers in maintenance and repair of critical machinery have over the last 5 or so years have retired, and their employees have failed to bring on keen and knowledgeable staff to learn what they do so the process can carry on. Sometimes the older fellas are a bit grumpy and couldn't be interested in give the younger fellas any training at all and reversely some of the younger fellas know it all and want to do it their way. Either way maintenance is not done, and more and more customers bring it to us when it's finally broken. Mostly too late for effective repair.
No one is interested in getting machinery built in Aust, they source machinery from Asia which they want me to modify at a bargain basement price they brought the machine for. Lack of skilled tradesmen being trained over the last 20 years and the level of training in the engineering trades will come to haunt us eventually.
The auctions are full of the welders, folders and lathes. So many businesses have closed over the last few years. I wish everyone good luck. We all ill need it.

Joe Bull's hygienic pipe welding, with full Argon gas internally purged pipe, is industry standard for the food industry. I've opened up some food industry pipes in the past that are shocking to say the least, but Joe's welded and internally polished pipes are first class.
127 50mm and 42 75mm pipes and connections was not a small job.
All joints are perfect and clean.

When you have a problem and you call in a contract welder you couldn't get any better than Bull Fab Welding. Joe is a precision welder that goes the extra mile to complete the job. TIG welding inside a s/s tank he soon realised that his boots were making him slip on the sloping floor so, off with the boots for barefoot welding.

Taking the eletric starter motor out of the Honda CR 750 replica might prove to be a problem as it also has a missing kick start. A rolling road starter should do the trick. Econovan starter motor and some boat trailer rollers should be a goer.

She'll be right customer said, it's a new pump. Only used once by a little old lady on Sundays. Only water for drinking he said, what could go wrong! Small wasp nest on the shaft would have made the water a bit chewie I recon. Clean up and new seals ain't cheep but necessary I recon.
