Chaser Bin Operator and general farm operations assistant for Harvest (START EARLY NOVEMBER)
Responsibilities include;

Driving the Chaser Bin, maintenance, repair and care and assist with other harvest operations as well any other farm jobs that come up during harvest.

Skills Required
HC license (A Bonus)
Some farming experience/knowledge is preferable.
Must have excellent communication skills.
Positive attitude, respect for equipment and people.
Must be able/willing to work longer hours when needed.

Full-time Position
A Farm Operations Assistant
is required to start before harvest (mid November) for a mixed-farming enterprise comprising of broad acre cropping, livestock and contracting services in the Upper South East/West Wimmera area.

Responsibilities include;
Operating late model John Deere equipment with greenstar systems for steering, data collection, variable rate operations.
Seeding, Spraying & Harvest operations
Machinery maintenance, repair & care
Property maintenance including fencing, infrastructure & water supply
Sheep livestock handling.

Skills required;
HC License
Experience with modern farm machinery, operation & maintenance
Positive attitude and respect for equipment, people and animals Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
Motivation, Initiative, Enthusiasm and good communication skills are highly valued
Ability and willingness to work longer hours during the busy times (harvest/cropping) (This will be balanced with days off in lieu at quieter times etc)

The successful applicant will have opportunity to grow and develop within the business.
Traineeship options may be available for the right applicant.
Remuneration package is negotiable depending on level of experience.

Hi all, thank you for all the new likes recently. It has come to that time of the year that we are looking for someone to help us out with harvest again from the end of November to the start of January. The applicant must have a HC license and a bit farm experience is a advantage.
The job involves a bit of truck driving to our on farm storage and local silos, moving machinery and equipment around, loading our cartage contractors trucks and all other farming duty’s.
