Baby Sensory Illawarra is a learning and development programme for parents to attend with their baby between the ages birth - 13 months.

The programme, developed by Dr Lin Day, is backed by over 35 years of research in early childhood education.

The classes provide a safe space for you to bond with your baby, learn about their development and how to support this at home, introduce them to a magical world of sensory experiences and meet other local families in the same stage of life as you.

🧠 Join our research based learning and development programme in Term 3.

📍 Baby classes running in the Illawarra at Figtree, Oak Flats & Dapto during term time.

Oooo yes it’s the moment you’ve been waiting for. We have been inundated with messages from families waiting to join our Term 3 classes.

….and more! We have an incredible term planned and we are beyond excited to create the magic for you and your baby to enjoy.

🤩 Term 3 will run:

Oak Flats on Monday’s & Thursday’s
Figtree on Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s
Dapto on Friday’s

👉 Priority booking opens on Wednesday 10th June from 8am for our current Term 2 families.

👉 Early Access booking opens on Wednesday 10th June from 2pm for our Term 3 waitlist families.

I can’t believe it!!! We have absolutely smashed our previous fundraising efforts with our 2026 Superhero Senseathon running across Australia in the month of May. We have managed to raise a whopping….

💫 Superheroes save the day!

Last week our families suited up to support our Superhero Senseathon in partnership with and my goodness did we have some fun!

Firstly a huge thank you for getting behind this and for helping to raise vital funds and awareness for this incredible organisation. We were blown away by the effort you all went to dress up and save the day.

We are still totalling up the fundraising efforts across Australia and we will feedback the numbers when donation/raffle pages close at the end of May…. But it is looking like our best year yet!

🦸🏻‍♂️ THANK YOU! This truly means the world and will go a long way in helping many families in Australia with babies born into NICU. 💫

I’ll look forward to sharing the results soon.

“Baby Sensory was literally the highlight of my mat leave. 1000% recommend booking!

Sophie and her team are so incredible. Every single week felt so special, it became the highlight of both mine and my baby’s week. The classes are so thoughtfully planned, calming, fun and genuinely magical to watch your baby experience. I loved having dedicated time to slow down, bond with my baby and meet other mums in the same season of life.

The activities are so engaging and beautifully set up. You can really see how much care goes into every session. My baby was completely captivated each week and I noticed so much growth in her confidence, curiosity and development over the terms.

If you’re looking for something meaningful to do during maternity leave that feels both enriching for your baby and supportive for you as a parent, I honestly couldn’t recommend Sophie’s classes more.”
