The major benefit of Water Jet Cutting is that it can cut most materials accurately without the use of heat, thus no stress or heat affected zones in the finished product, which is particularly important in this, brittle and lightweight materials. Cuts can be made within +/-0.1mm dimensionally in thickness up to 50mm. The maximum thickness of materials that can be cut is currently 150mm, with a sh
eet size of up to 1500mm x 1500mm. The advantage of Water Jet Technology is that it opens up a new era in the use of materials that were traditionally difficult to process with convenient tooling. The water jet cutting does not damage the surface finish. The machines cut the material cold, this there is no heat or change to temperature with the cut showing little or no burring giving a quality edge finish. Xpiggy Custom's can process your order upon recieving the most basic of information, such as in the form of a cardboard cut-out to most electronic data file formats including Auto CAD, Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator and various signage packages. To ensure that your order or quote is processed as quickly and as accurately as possible, we have guidlines for the submission of artwork. Upon receipt of your quote or order we will contact you with any additional questions and/or problems. we will require signed, written confirmation of any quotation, order or design team drawings before the commencement of any order. We prefer dxf and pdf files for quoting and cutting.
