The Baxter family and team at Baxters Concrete are deeply saddened to hear of Kevin’s passing.

His advice and guidance helped shape our business over many decades, and he was held in very high regard for his professionalism, integrity and straight-forward nature.

Our sincere condolences to the Tracy family and the entire STM team.

Today STM is very saddened to share the news of the passing of one of our founding Partners, Kevin Tracy. Today we remember Kevin for his wisdom, patience and humility.

In 1973, Kevin Tracy and Peter Stewart founded Stewart, Tracy & Mylon with a shared vision: to build a firm grounded in trusted relationships, honest advice, and genuine care for the people and businesses they served.

Kevin was instrumental in shaping not only our firm, but also the values that continue to guide us more than 50 years later. His integrity, professionalism, and commitment to helping clients navigate their businesses with confidence and clarity left a lasting impact on colleagues, clients, and the wider community.

Those who worked alongside Kevin knew him as a respected advisor, a thoughtful leader, and a person who valued relationships above all else.

As we reflect on his contribution to STM, we are grateful for the strong foundation he helped create and the legacy he leaves behind.

Our thoughts are with Kevin’s family, friends, colleagues, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

In Memory of Mal Oates — Sunshine Walk 2025

This weekend, Team Wild Oates will walk in honour of our mate Mal Oates, who began raising funds for the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre before he sadly passed away.

Thanks to the support of our customers and team, Baxters Concrete has donated over $5,000 to continue what Mal started.

Mal was loyal, steady, and always there when you needed him. We’ll be walking for him — and with him — every step of the way.

In Memory of Mal Oates — Supporting the Sunshine Walk

If you’ve spotted our agitators around town with the Sunshine Walk decals, they’re there for a very special reason.

Our much-loved workmate Mal Oates was raising funds for the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre’s Sunshine Walk before he passed away from cancer last month — a cause that meant a lot to him.

To honour Mal and continue what he started, we’re donating $2 from every cubic metre delivered by our three Sunshine Walk trucks throughout October and the lead-up to the event.

Vale Mal Oates

It is with great sadness that we share the news that our long-term colleague and friend, Mal Oates, passed away last week after a brave battle with cancer.

Mal was an instrumental part of Baxters Concrete. Over his 35-year career, he built the infrastructure that underpins our business with his bare hands. More than that, he was a mate to all of us, and he will be dearly missed.

As a mark of respect, Baxters Concrete will be closed from 9:00am this Thursday, 4 September, so our team can attend Mal’s funeral and pay our respects. For those who knew Mal and wish to attend, the service will be held at 11:00am at the Barnawartha Football Club.

Our thoughts are with Mal’s family and friends at this difficult time.
