ALDOM Transport Engineering Aldom Transport Engineering has been designing and building working vehicles in South Australia for more than 50 years.

Aldom has been shaping the future of fleet solutions since 1975 – proudly SA-owned and delivering custom builds, modifications, repairs, and E-Mobility innovation across Australia. We deliver custom built bodies and fit outs for some of Australia’s most demanding industries including defence, motorsport, emergency services, logistics, construction, mining, food distribution and cold chain fleets.

With in house design and engineering, certified manufacturing and fabrication, and a dedicated repairs and modifications workshop, we provide end to end support across the full lifecycle of a vehicle – from CAD concepts and prototyping through to build, delivery, upgrades and ongoing maintenance. Our capabilities cover purpose built tippers, urban delivery vehicles, plant and long haul trailers, remote and off road builds, body fit outs, access systems and fleet repair programs. Great to deliver this hydroseeding body install for on a Mercedes platform.

Supplied as a flat pack, our team completed the full assembly and integration onto the vehicle.

Key scope:
• Custom subframe
• Chassis modification - rear overhang reduction & cross member relocation
• Assembly and fit-out of hydroseeder system (tank, spray cannon, controls)
• Tanker guards + rotating lights (Rhino bar mounted)
• Electrical integration - reverse buzzer + system setup
• Compliance, blue plate and weight distribution for optimal positioning
• Paint & finish to match chassis

Another custom refrigerated build completed for Galipo Foods 🙌🏻

This 4.5m refrigerated pantech was designed around real-world food distribution needs – multi-temperature zones, safe access, organised storage and long-term durability.

From the fibreglass non-slip floor and galvanised rear frame through to internal shelving, lighting, sensors and VSB6 compliance, every detail was built for reliability and day-to-day operation.

Built on an Isuzu NQR with Carrier refrigeration – ready to go to work!! 😍😍

Built for MGS Tilt Tray and Towing, this custom truck and trailer combo is all about safe, efficient loading and long days on the road.

• Hino FD 1126 with wheelbase reduction and custom tray
• Matching beavertail trailer with pull-out ramps and underdeck storage
• Punch plate floors and stair-tread edges for grip and safety
• Weweler under slung air suspension and WABCO EBS brake kit
• Full Narva LED lighting, work lights and warning lights
• VSB6 compliant and ready to go

Built in Wingfield, heading straight to work in Mount Gambier.
