Another cage finished up at Williams Motorsport Fabrication 🔧🏁

This one is a bolt-in 4-point roll cage with removable door bars, fully TIG welded and built with a focus on clean fitment, strength and a quality finish.

The removable door bars keep it practical while still providing the additional protection needed for track use.

First race weekend in the Calibra done! 🏁

A bit of an up-and-down weekend. Race 1 ended with a DNF after shredding a rear tyre while leading, which caused some damage to the car. Unfortunately, that meant we had to DNS the next race while we got everything repaired and ready to go again.

From there we bounced back, starting from the rear of the grid and working our way through to take the win, then backing it up with another win in the final race.

There wasn’t a huge field of competition this weekend, but I’m still really happy with how everything went. The main goal was to get some proper race laps in the Calibra, learn the car and see where we’re at. We came away with plenty of positives and a much better idea of what we need to work on.

Massive thanks to everyone who helped get the car there and worked to get us back on track after the tyre failure. Plenty more to come! 🏁

🛑 👉 In 2027, we are looking for you! 👀

If there's a domestic ladder in Queensland Circuit Racing, you'll find us sitting on the rungs above Replica Tourers, with our "Sports Sedans and Invited Cars".

Today, we are emphasising 'rungs', plural...

We want to find sprint and speed event racers, past racers, and even new to motorsport rookies looking to step into circuit racing. We're building a family of competitors that embraces the spirit and legacy of Sports Sedans racing, without them needing to turn to full spaceframe silhouette monsters straight off the bat.

That doesn't translate to slow, or heavily restricted though. Build to the TTSS "series" rules and you'll have a legitimate, fully compliant Motorsport Australia Group 3D Sports Sedan 😊 and it's Sports Sedans that we're here for after all.

SS&INV Category Manager Tony Chapman will be out at Queensland Raceway next weekend, September 19 and 20, looking after Round 5 Sports Sedans and Invited Cars competitors, and if you are interested any one of them should be able to point him out to you to discuss TTSS in more detail if you like.

You can also dm the page, and we'll get the current info out to you, outlining where the crossover is before a car becomes more than a TTSS-spec and is just a full on Sports Sedan or Invited Car.

Getting the Calibra prepped and ready for Round 5 of the Queensland Sport Sedan State Championship at Queensland Raceway on September 19–20! 🏁

This will be our first State Championship round for the year, so we’re keen to finally get back amongst it. Plenty of preparation going on behind the scenes to make sure the car is ready to go. Looking forward to a solid weekend, getting some laps in and seeing what we can do! 🔧🔥

Morgan Park at full noise 🔥🏁

The Calibra is getting quicker every time we hit the track. Starting to put down some really good times and finally getting the car to work how we want it. Putting down some really good times but there’s Still plenty more speed to find — we’re only getting started 👊🔥

Designed, fabricated and TIG welded from scratch to suit the application, with AN fittings and a clean compact design. Really happy with how this one came together — just waiting on the little panel filter to arrive to finish it off properly.

Great day out at Morgan Park testing the Calibra! 🏁

After struggling with grip at our last outing, we made a few suspension setup changes to try and get the car working a bit better. Today was a massive step in the right direction — the car felt much more planted, grip improved significantly, and we were able to put together some really solid laps.

Still plenty more to fine-tune, but it’s great to see the changes paying off and finally start unlocking the potential of the car. A very successful test day and we’re looking forward to the next one! 💪🏁

A productive weekend at Morgan Park for the C Sprint, with the focus of more practice in the Holden Calibra. Every session helped us learn more about the car, and while there are still a few things to improve, we’re heading in the right direction. Thanks to everyone that helped out over the weekend. 🏁
