Currently business as usual!

In a rapidly changing environment, All Terrain 4x4 is monitoring very closely the government advice around the implications, and are closely monitoring updates from the World Health Organisation, regarding COVID-19. We will continue to seek guidance from these agencies, public health officials and government agencies on an ongoing basis.

We will take all necessary precautions to ensure the health and safety of our staff and their families, customers, business partners and the community in which we live and work.

We have initiated health and hygiene practices which include:

1. Washing hands and sanitising work areas and customer contact areas.

2. Maintaining social distancing from other staff members and customers.

3. When servicing your vehicle we will be disinfecting all contact areas in the vehicle (before and after) including the outside door handle. Should sanitisers and cleaning products become difficult to obtain due to demand, we will be using gloves to enter your vehicle.

We need to make sure that we look after each other so we can all pull through the very difficult few months ahead.

Stay safe and well!

Recent storms and flash flooding have impacted the Wallabadah pump station and have caused problems with water treatment making drinking water in the Wallabadah system unsafe.

Water used for drinking or food preparation should be brought to a rolling boil to make it safe. Kettles with automatic shut off switches can do this. Water should then be allowed to cool and stored in a clean container with a lid and refrigerated.

Bottled water or cool boiled water should be used for drinking, washing uncooked food (e.g. salad vegetables and fruit), making ice, cleaning teeth, gargling and pet’s drinking water.

Dishes should be washed in hot soapy water or in a dishwasher. Children should take bottled water or cool boiled water to school.

If you cannot boil the water, unscented household bleach (containing 4% – 5% available chlorine) may be used. Add 2 drops of bleach to 1 litre of water (or 4 drops if the water is cloudy), mix well, and allow to stand for 30 minutes before use.

Liverpool Plains Shire Council has been working to return the system to safe operation and has been working with NSW Health to ensure the system recovers as quickly as possible.

This advice should be followed until further notice.

The NSW Health website also includes special considerations for:
• Schools and childcare centres https://www.health.nsw.gov.au/environment/water/Pages/schools.aspx
• Commercial establishments serving food or drinks https://www.health.nsw.gov.au/environment/water/Pages/foodfacts.aspx
