Keystone Linings

Keystone Acoustics design and manufacture perforated panels, in a variety of substrates. Our acoustic panels are not only functional but aesthetically pleasing.

For over 40 years, we’ve partnered with Australian architects, builders & tradies to design, machine & supply architectural acoustic panels for commercial walls and ceilings, all manufactured in-house at our large-scale Wetherill Park production facility. All panels are custom made, substrates include plywood, MDF (perforated or slotted ) , FR MDF for those areas that need Group 1 or Group 2 classification.

🏢 Architectural warmth and acoustic detailing at 8 Exhibition Street, Melbourne

Designed by Hot Black Interiors and delivered by Plan Group VIC, this workplace fitout features a carefully considered ceiling design across the kitchen and collaborative lounge areas.

Keystone Linings supplied Key-Open Cell panels in a Victorian Ash finish, featuring 600 × 600mm cell modules with perforated backing panels. The open-cell design adds natural timber character while supporting acoustic comfort.

Layered lighting and textured finishes complement the ceiling, creating a cohesive and welcoming workplace interior.

Timber-look soffit detailing at North Cheltenham Preschool

Designed by ARCH, North Cheltenham Preschool features a considered exterior palette that connects closely with the internal joinery finishes.

We supplied Key-Endura panels with a Key-Ink Curly Birch finish for the soffit linings. The finish was selected to coordinate with the interior joinery while adding a natural timber appearance to the external areas.

The fibre cement substrate provides a durable, low-maintenance solution suited to the demands of an education environment.

Acoustic timber detailing at The Heights School, Adelaide

Designed by Thomson Rossi, The Heights School features a considered ceiling design combining acoustic performance with a natural timber appearance.

We supplied Key-Nirvana Platinum perforated ceiling panels, selected for their realistic timber grain finish and acoustic properties. The perforated panels help manage noise within the learning environment while providing a durable architectural finish.

Installed by Commercial Fitouts Australia, the ceiling brings acoustic performance and consistent detailing together across the school interiors.

🏫 Group 1 fire-rated acoustic detailing at Al-Faisal College

Designed by PMDL Architecture, the new Al-Faisal College Austral campus includes two basketball courts, a gymnasium and community facilities.

We supplied Key-Ink 6mm FC ceiling panels in a Classic Cherry finish, alongside Key-Nirvana 12mm MDF wall panels in Euro Cherry. Both solid and perforated panels were supplied, with K100 Black acoustic backing behind the perforated panels to support acoustic performance. A key requirement was a Group 1 fire-rated solution.

Creating warm, engaging learning environments starts with the right materials at Pimpala Pre School

Designed by Tridente Architects and delivered by Tonkin Schutz Design & Build, Pimpala Pre School showcases how natural timber finishes and acoustic performance can work together to support early learning spaces.

We supplied Key-Ply Marine Plywood Panels in both solid and perforated configurations, creating a welcoming ceiling feature throughout the kindergarten. Finished in Key-Tone Whitewash Satin and backed with K100 acoustic backing, the panels provide warmth, visual appeal, and acoustic comfort for students and educators alike.

Custom contour detailing at Denison Gas, Chatswood

Designed by Creative Nine, the Denison Gas office called for a distinctive contoured timber feature with minimal visible joint lines.

We supplied Key-Designa contoured Key-Ply Hoop Pine plywood panels with a Key-Tone Clear Satin finish. The shaped panels were strategically machined and pre-finished at our Wetherill Park facility, with concealed fixings helping maintain a clean finish across the changing contours.

45 storeys of architectural panels at 303 La Trobe Street, Melbourne

Developed by Cedar Pacific and designed by Nettleton Tribe, 303 La Trobe Street is a purpose-built student accommodation facility operated by UniLodge in Melbourne's C*D.

We supplied Key-Nirvana decorative MDF panels from the Emerald range across 45 storeys, along with Key-Lena timber veneer panels in white across two levels.

A significant project requiring consistency across a 46-level building, delivered in collaboration with Icon and installed by Oneway Constructions.

Acoustic plywood detailing at Chrismont Winery, King Valley

Designed by MG Design & Building and delivered by Bright Alpine Builders, Chrismont Winery brings together natural materials, expansive views, and carefully considered acoustic detailing.

We supplied Key-Ply solid and slotted acoustic plywood panels for the project. The plywood ceilings add natural warmth while helping manage acoustics across the open-plan cellar door and restaurant.

A great example of acoustic performance becoming part of the architectural finish.
