🚛 Kenworth Daycab Transformation!

Another Mackle Engineering custom build completed 🔧 — We stretched the chassis and wheelbase to fit a massive 5m Mackle tipper body with a front‑mount hoist. The cab got a fresh Ice White respray to match the new body, plus a Mackle ringfeder towbar, PVC electric tarp system, and Haulweigh advanced truck and trailer scales for serious payload precision.

We also added a HD 4‑port camera monitor, custom powder‑coated toolboxes, a 7‑inch straight‑cut sports exhaust, LED roof beacon, nut & hub covers, plus a full metal and paint polish to finish it off.

Another Kenworth ready to work hard and turn heads. 💪✨

Fire truck turned workhorse..🚒🚜

This past Mackle Engineering build takes a retired fire truck and transforms it into a purpose‑built tipper, loaded with custom features our client requested.

●Original fuel tank re‑engineered into a hydraulic tank, with a brand new, larger diesel tank added.
●Custom toolboxes each side, with separate compartments and housing a concealed hose reel plumbed to transfer straight from the new diesel tank.
●Dedicated storage above the toolboxes, sealed by the tipper body, perfect for laser staff and tripod.
●In‑body toolboxes accessible from both inside and outside the body for maximum convenience.
●Weartuf450 folded in‑body covers for machinery ramp storage.
●Auxiliary 24V power supply to the new Mackle pintle towbar and LED roof mounted safety beacon lights.
●10 internal tie‑down points (not pictured) and external rope rails down each side of the body.

Built tough for transport, smart for earthmoving – proudly designed and fabricated by Mackle Engineering.

Mackle Engineering will be closed for the Christmas break and will reopen on the 5th of January, with build slots now available for late February–March.

More interstate business includes the supply of a NEW drop-on Mackle body and tarp system, as well as replacing an existing aluminium body with a fresh Mackle body at our workshop.

What started out as a straightforward body re-sheet quickly turned into a complete body rebuild and chassis swap. In the end, only the body floor and part of the headboard were retained.

This build has a protective coating applied to the internal walls and floor. It features a rubber sealed tailgate with blood locks, along with an external release switch for improved hygiene and ease of operation.

The trailer chassis has been fully coated with a protective finish, and the rims have been resprayed to match. A new PVC wind-out tarp has been fitted to complete the job.
