We were honoured recently to have a Government customer ask us to repair and calibrate a very rare pressure gauge. This 24 inch (600 mm) gauge is believed to have been made by a division of Australian National Airways (1936 to 1957). Its polished and lacquered cast brass case weighs about 17 kg and the hand marked pen & ink scale is testament to the skills of those who made it in an era where automation was almost non-existent.
