cifically in the Warehouse Racking Industry, I have the unique position of a broad and in-depth knowledge of most available racking systems. This enables me to audit and rate many warehouses, even when the racking is unknown or over 60 years old! I can provide Load Ratings on racks that don't fall under the Australian Standards (due to age or origin, home-made or fabricated racks, including cantilever). To stay safe and compliant, audits are advised annually, 6-monthly in some cases, as well as when racking is re-configured or re-positioned. If you change the use of a rack, it must be Certified fit for purpose. An audit can prevent accidents, keep your racking strong by noting areas of damage, and doing small repairs to minimise major issues from occurring.
