That’s a wrap on APPA 2026! 👋

Bryce and Kerrie spent four big days in Canberra last week for the National Australian Primary Principals Association Conference, alongside Russell from Play Workshop Pty Ltd Workshop, our NSW distributor.

Lots of new faces, plenty of playground conversations and we even brought a little playground along with us! 🛝

And a big congratulations to Canberra Grammar School, who won our Butterfly Seat raffle! 🦋

A little sneak peek at McCormack Park 👀

We’ve shared a few progress shots along the way, but this one is now very close to finished.

The playground is looking incredible, with just the final landscaping touches happening around the space.

This has been a huge project for our team, working with Hobsons Bay City Council and we can’t wait to show you the whole thing.

Plenty of ways to climb this one 💪

Rock wall, rope ladders, overhead ropes, cargo nets… our Cube at Singleton Reserve in Endeavour Hills packs a lot into a pretty compact footprint.

And looking at the playground from above, there’s no shortage of ways for kids to climb, balance and challenge themselves.

👋 Meet Padraic

Part of our Installations team, Padraic is one of the crew responsible for taking what we design and manufacture in the factory and turning it into a finished playground on site.

He came to Activity Playgrounds with experience across plumbing, roofing, mechanical and factory work, so he's no stranger to working with his hands or figuring things out on the job.

And when he's not building playgrounds, there's a good chance you'll find him climbing something else. Padraic is a keen rock climber and loves being outdoors... which seems pretty fitting for someone who spends his days installing things for kids to climb!

Family and spending time with the people closest to him are most important, and we're told he'd describe himself (hopefully!) as hardworking and switched on.

What does he enjoy most about Activity Playgrounds? The variety... from carpentry to operating machinery, there's always something different to do and something new to learn.
