🔥 Suspension Upgrade... But Do Upper Control Arms Really Matter? 🔥

We're about to find out.

This customer received an Old Man Emu MT64 suspension upgrade, parabolic rear leaf springs, and airbags. We then sent them away for 2 weeks before fitting OME upper control arms and completing a second wheel alignment.

From a tyre and alignment perspective, lifting an IFS 4WD changes the suspension geometry. While we can align the vehicle after the lift, factory upper control arms can limit the amount of caster and camber adjustment available. Upper control arms help bring these alignment angles back into specification, improving steering feel, straight-line tracking and potentially reducing uneven tyre wear.

Now we're waiting on the customer's real-world feedback on the difference before and after the upper control arms were fitted.

Doug, Ally & Logan escaped for some much-needed R&R over the weekend. 🔥🍻

A weekend filled with bonfires, cold beers, good company, exploring new country, and taking in the incredible station landscapes.

After the dry conditions we've seen, it was amazing to see the country covered in water and green as far as the eye could see.

We may have also discovered that what looked like a "slightly damp patch" was actually a bog hole in disguise... 🤦‍♀️😂 Luckily the winch earned its keep!

Back to reality now, but already planning the next adventure. 👌
