20 Years of Cookie 🎉

Recently, Michael Cooke, or better known to everyone as Cookie, ticked over an incredible 20 years with Steel Supplies.

Over the past 20 years, Cookie has always treated Steel Supplies as if it were his own, looking out for the business wherever he can. He is far more than an employee; he is truly part of the Steel Supplies family.

Throughout his time with us, Cookie has built strong and lasting friendships and relationships with our customers, who value him just as much as we do.

As a true Bulldogs supporter, we were proud to be able to take Cookie away for a Bulldogs weekend to celebrate this incredible milestone and, most importantly, thank him for his loyalty and contribution over the past 20 years.

Fun fact: Kev’s very first job was in the same shed where he finished his last day of work – a full-circle moment that makes his retirement even more special.

10 Years of Willow! 🎉

Today we celebrate another incredible milestone – 10 years with Steel Supplies for Stephen Wilson, or as most of us know him, Willow!

For the past decade, Willow has been a valued member of the Steel Supplies team, bringing reliability, dedication and a strong work ethic to work every day.

Anyone who has spent time around the Wagga yard will know that Willow takes great pride in his work, and nowhere is that more evident than in the plate shed. Known as the tidiest and most organised section of our business, the plate shed is a credit to Willow's hard work and attention to detail.

Having spent 27 years working in the steel industry, Willow brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the role, which has been a great asset to Steel Supplies throughout his time with us.

Willow, thank you for your loyalty, hard work and contribution over the past 10 years. We genuinely appreciate everything you do and are proud to have you as part of the Steel Supplies family.
