Meet our Maxtrax mates: .the.daily

Long before they owned a 4WD, Jessie, Lachlan and their three girls were taking the family car down tracks it probably had no business being on. These days it's a Prado, and they're showing that you don't need to spend a fortune to build something capable and get the family out exploring.

Their most memorable recovery came from a quick toilet stop in the Victorian High Country, which ended with the Prado bogged to the chassis in snow. A few hours of digging and a set of Turquoise MKIIs later, they were back on track. Their tip from that day: dig first. Clear around the tyres before you lay your boards and the whole recovery gets a lot easier.
