We had about 22 installers at Logicar HQ last week, two days on the Heshbon range with Frank from Heshbon's international team, a Heshbon engineer in from Korea, and our own Tim Fisher running the show. Mostly the HL26, with the tyre and wheel gear getting a proper go too.

The bit we'd hand to any workshop is simple. The hoist arrives as a fixed spec. Your bay doesn't. So before you call, know what you're lifting, how high the ceiling is, where the power sits and what you know about your slab. 🔧

Downtime report, 26 August. 📋

In this industry, downtime costs money. An idle bay, a hoist waiting on parts, a scan tool that refuses to update. We have spent over thirty years helping workshops get rid of it.

Roger, meanwhile, has been asleep on the office floor since nine. There was an incident earlier. A courier. It's been dealt with. He's resting now. He finds Wednesdays hard.

Everyone knows a windscreen can mean an ADAS calibration. Fewer know an alignment can too.

Suspension work. A bumper off near a radar module. Each one is a reason to open the manufacturer procedure before the car leaves the bay.

None of them is a verdict on its own. That is the bit the group chat always gets wrong.

The Australian Automotive Aftermarket Association put it in writing last June. Link in the comments.

🔍 Nothing gets a room of parts people talking like a scan tool and a mystery fault code. So we brought a few of Thinkcar Ukengineers together with the Natrad Official team for some product and technical training, and let the conversation run.

Having the engineers in the room made all the difference. Rather than learning about the latest diagnostic technology from a spec sheet, the ADRAD team heard it firsthand from the people who know it best. And with everyone free to ask the questions that mattered most to them, each answer filled a different gap, deepening the diagnostic knowledge the team will draw on when a workshop rings needing support. 🤝
