On Sunday, 24 May 2026 club members came together for a barbeque to celebrate National Volunteer Week. Thank you to everyone who puts in such a massive effort throughout each year to put together our rally, it's a huge job! And a massive thank you to Federation Council's 2026 Volunteer Week Micro Grant program who made it possible.

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of long-term club member Ian 'Strapper' Anderson.

Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with Strapper's family and friends at this time.

Passed away at Narrandera Homestead Care Community on Monday 11th May 2026. Dearly loved husband of Sandra. Much loved father and father-in-law of Kerry and Angela, Jamey and Bronwyn, Denny (deceased), Rodney and Jacqui. Adored Pop Strap of Kristy, Cindy and Nat, Brenton and Natalie: Abbey; Sarah and Brett, Matt and Louise, Kathryn and Bailey. Great Poppy Strap of Bailey, Jayden, Blake, Jake, Kade, Charlie, and Harriett. Aged 85 years.

'The horses are unsaddled, the long day's ride is done. He's gone beyond the far fence now, and rests beneath the western sun.
