The boys have been getting down and dirty this week. A Rocker box re-seal and valve set were completed on this Caterpillar 962M hydraulic wheel loader, powered by a Caterpillar C7 engine.

AMP Plant Hire is looking to hire a casual Diesel Fitter with opportunity to become fulltime for the right candidate. To start immediately working a site based roster.

Position Description:
You will have the opportunity to work on a large range of earth moving equipment working within the mining and civil industry.
In this position you will be responsible for the servicing repair and maintenance of mobile plant equipment including fault finding and diagnostics to assist the prevention of break downs or unexpected down time of machinery.
At times you will be working autonomously within your role and therefore must show imitative and a strong understanding of the plant.

You will need the following attributes:
• Certificate III in Engineering- Mechanical Trade Diesel Fitter
• Current driver’s licence- manual
• Strong commitment to safety
• Competent in electrical and hydraulic repairs
• Competent in field service
• Competent in reading and interpreting OEM procedures, schematics (Electrical, Pneumatic and Hydraulic).
• Previous experience in mining, construction, and agricultural related industries.
• Able to work in a team or independently.
• Forklift ticket, working at heights and any other tickets you may have (preferred but not essential).
