Across the Armadale Line Upgrade - a multi-billion dollar rail project in WA - raising the rail has unlocked kilometres of new public space beneath the corridor, creating a series of connected park precincts.

Each one carries its own identity, with bold, distinct colour palettes tied to the surrounding community.

To make that work, the finishes needed to match across every element. With in-house powder coating in Bundaberg, our street and park infrastructure was delivered with:

August shines a spotlight on tradie health and wellbeing, and this year's theme reminds us that mental health awareness is just as important as physical safety.

Today, our team is proudly wearing fluro to show support for the incredible people who build, create and deliver the outdoor spaces Australians enjoy every day, because we know that looking after our people goes beyond the job site.

We were joined by Yoga Vida making use of the open park space at Pirate Park in Moreton Bay, QLD.

The park features our complete park solution, including:
• Shelter, BBQ and drinking fountain
• HYVE modular furniture suite in light coastal tones
• integrated lighting option within the furniture

With single-person households projected to grow 48% by 2041, park spaces need to cater not only to groups and active use, but also to individual needs and passive ways of spending time.

📍Northern NSW → Queensland | The Final Leg

The GX Roadshow is almost at headquarters!

Dan takes on the final stretch through northern NSW, connecting with councils across Gunnedah Shire Council, Tamworth Regional Council, Gwydir Shire Council, Inverell Shire Council, Armidale Regional Council, Tenterfield Shire Council, Richmond Valley Council, Kyogle Council and Tweed Shire Council before handing the keys back to the team in Queensland.

Along the way, the van stopped in Warialda to check out a recent GX shelter and furniture fit-out, made an appearance alongside Tamworth’s famous Big Golden Guitar 🎸 and finished at Budd Park in Murwillumbah.

Budd Park showcases how semi-custom design can help public space infrastructure respond to its surroundings, with GX products and colour selections working seamlessly with the natural environment.

After thousands of kilometres and countless council conversations, the Roadshow is finally heading home to QLD!

Created by the Touched by Olivia Foundation after the loss of their daughter, what began as a family’s legacy has grown into a national movement for inclusive design - shaping how public spaces are created across Australia.

That’s why we’re proud to have supported Livvi’s Place Playground, Woolooware, NSW - a project that reflects our belief in creating spaces that enrich the lives of others.

Through a complete park furniture solution, we’ve helped support the space with park seating, a public BBQ, bin enclosure, drinking fountain and table setting.

📍Highlights from the Road Back to QLD

Braden and Daniel share some highlights from the Central West NSW portion of the GX Roadshow, connecting with Forbes Shire Council, Parkes Shire Council, Dubbo Regional Council and Mid-Western Regional Council on the journey north.

Along the way, they visited Lions Park in Forbes, with GX tables and seating supporting everyday use throughout the park, and Kelly Reserve in Parkes, featuring GX Elite BBQs, tables, seating, bike racks and bins.

The trip also highlighted some great examples of how public spaces are evolving, including a HYVE modular social hub in the heart of Parkes and the recently developed Glen Willow Sports Precinct in Mudgee, featuring GX Akora Cantilever Shelters and Citistyle Table Settings.

Different spaces, different needs, but a shared focus on creating places that bring communities together.
