Yesterday, we came together for a farewell morning tea to celebrate Andrew and his outstanding contribution as Production Manager at Hetech over the past 2.5 years.

Andrew has had a significant impact on our production team and the wider business, strengthening systems and processes while improving consistency, efficiency and quality. Beyond his achievements, Andrew made a real difference in how he supported his team, building a collaborative environment where people felt encouraged and confident. We’re certain his influence will be felt well into the future.

✨ Meet the Team | Chris ✨

Meet Chris, our Production Supervisor who keeps the Hetech production floor running smoothly.
With almost 10 years at Hetech, Chris started as an Electronics Assembler, progressed to Team Leader, and now oversees operations while supporting team leaders and mentoring staff. We asked him a few questions to get to know him better:

What’s your role on the team?
Production Supervisor: I oversee daily operations and support team leaders to ensure all projects run smoothly, safely and to a high standard

How long have you been with Hetech?
This year it will be 10 years!

What’s your favourite part of your job?
I enjoy the supportive culture, strong teamwork and daily variety. Every day brings new challenges and I’m proud to contribute to delivering high-quality products to our customers

Do you have any hobbies outside of work?
I love spending time with my family, especially my two-year-old son Liam. We enjoy park trips, ice cream and I sing him rock-song lullabies. Our favourite is “Thin Air” by Pearl Jam

What does a complete box build solution look like?

At Hetech, we take products beyond PCB assembly, integrating electronics, mechanical hardware, enclosures, wiring, testing and final assembly to deliver solutions ready for deployment.

One example is our work with BIA5 on the Tactical Initiated Lighting System (TILS). From component sourcing and PCBA through to final assembly and testing, we helped bring this innovative defence technology to life.

On 14 June, our Managing Director, Mark Steiner, will be taking part in the MS Brissie to the Bay ride.

Mark will be riding 60km to raise vital funds for people living with MS and other neurological conditions, helping provide essential services, support, research, and long-term care.

What a fantastic turnout this morning for our Hetech Factory Tour & Breakfast.

It was a real pleasure to welcome so many guests through our doors and share a behind-the-scenes look at our production floor, the technology we build, and the people behind it.

We were thrilled by the incredible response and loved seeing so many engaged, curious and smiling faces so early in the morning.
