Gold Coast Stars Inline Hockey Learn to play every Mon at Epic Skate Rink. Juniors Train & play from 5:45-7:15 NSW/ 4:45-6:15 QLD Juniors (6-16yrs) train and play from 5-6:30pm.

Inline hockey training and game takes place every Wednesday (Mar-Nov) in Tweed Heads (Epic Skate Rink, 23 Enterprise Ave). Seniors now play Thursday evenings. Beginners are always welcome, training and equipment provided. Come and try it out for FREE! Like our page to keep up to date with what's happening with GC STARS!!

Hello everyone 👋

As Naomi and the boys will be leaving us (😭😭😭), I am in need of a new club secretary. Would anyone be interested in stepping into a committee role? As you know, we are very relaxed and cruisy. We must have 3 Queenslanders on the committee to stay registered as a club. (Queenslanders as we are Qld Incorporated).

I am looking forward to some new coaching experience on the rink, but I will also be on with the newer players so will definitely need some help with the off-rink weekly things. It's not hard, I just can't be in two places at once.

If anyone is good at social media I would love to pass this on to someone to help promote the club.

I'm currently wearing too many hats and I really want the club to grow, I'm just struggling with time and def can't do it all on my own.

If you have any ideas, would like to help out in any capacity, I will hold our AGM on Monday Feb 2nd after our session ends at 5:45pm (Qld time). If anyone would like to nominate for a committee position, that would be great, or just help out in any capacity, that would also be great.

The AGM will not take long. I am currently the registered treasurer and Blaine is the current President. All club financials from the 2025 year will be available to attendees.

HOW EXCITING....It's that time of year again - Registration is now open for junior and senior inline hockey with Gold Coast on the below link! Registration is $50 for recreational inline (just at Epic) and $120 if you play competitive (tournament hockey or up at Logan). To complete your registration you also need to pay $20 club rego to our Gold Coast Inline Hockey bank account (details below).

This registration will cover you for insurance for the entire 2026 year.

Hey Stars ⭐⭐⭐, air out your gear, check your wheels and tape your sticks....Junior Inline Hockey will begin for Term 1, 2026 on Monday 2nd Feb at 5:45pm NSW time til 6:45pm.(4:45pm QLD time).

Please arrive by 5:20 NSW to gear up so we can hit the rink and make the most of the hour!!

New players are always welcome, come and try for free, ages 6-16, boys and girls.

Training and all protective gear provided, just wear your inline skates (roller blades) or you can hire skates from Epic Skate Rink.

Senior drop in will follow from 7:15pm NSW @ $20 cash per player.

Another "epic" year of junior inline hockey!!

We finished the Grunske Cup with a 3 game each team draw and team Orange took the overall win with a penalty shootout!!

We then began the parents vs kids game which was SO MUCH FUN!!! We will definitely be doing more of these nights next year!!

A HUGE thank you to all of our hockey families who turn up each week and Naomi for helping me out so much and keeping things running smoothly!! Jason for jumping in net and helping coach, Dakota and Miles for always helping out as well. Without your help it would not be possible! Thank you everyone for contributing to our little Xmas breakup party as well!!

Another great year done and dusted, we look forward to having a break over the Xmas holidays and seeing everyone back in skates in the New Year. 🫶🏒🥅🎄😊🌟

It's coming to the pointy end of the year and we have begun the Grunske Cup once again...a battle between teams Blue and Orange!!

Game one saw team Orange take the win 4-2!

Can't wait for game 2 this coming Monday - hopefully Team Blue will even things up!
