Something a little different for us. This past weekend we sponsored Tumut Teampenning Group Inc by donating this awesome piece of metal art as 1st prize in their raffle. It was won by Lisa Rapmund who (based on her comment) was EXTREMELY happy with her win. Congratulations Lisa 😄

DME is proud to have such great young men on our team.

🎉 Exciting News 🎉

We're pleased to share that Riley, a Year 10 student, has kicked off his School Based Apprenticeship with DME in Tumut. He’ll be working every Thursday and has already begun his Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication at TAFE, attending classes two days every fortnight.

It was excellent to visit him today and see how much he’s enjoying the work. Plus, it was awesome to spot three other past students at DME pursuing their own careers as well as supporting him with his apprenticeship. What an amazing opportunity for growth and learning✨

We have opportunities for experienced Fitters/Boilermakers to join our hardworking and supportive team in Tumut, NSW as permanent day fitters.

• 9-hour shifts Monday – Friday 7:00AM – 4:00PM and daily overtime.

In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks that require attention to detail and technical expertise.

Your core duties will include:

• Bearing changes
• Pump Rebuild
• Routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks
• Fabrication
• Maintenance and repairs on rotating equipment

This is an exciting opportunity for you to work with a team of professionals dedicated to delivering top-quality results to our clients.

You'll be great in this role because:

• You possess trade qualifications in Mechanical Fitting or Boilermaking and have previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• You are passionate about your work, take pride in your craftsmanship, and are committed to delivering high-quality work on time, every time.
• You have good communication skills, are a team player, and work effectively under pressure.

Although not essential, the following tickets are highly regarded:

• Forklift Licence
• Do***ng Licence
• Elevated Work Platform Licence
• Driver's license and vehicle
